Benefit Concert on behalf of Ronnie & Donna Banks

Synergy: The interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects [or roles].

This dictionary definition best provides the description of The Guild of Sound, along with others for the evening.

This concert was so refreshing for me personally and most assuredly, musically!  Aside from playing with my group, The Guild of Sound.  I had the opportunity to meet and play with other very fine musicians here in Atlanta, GA., including Bill Hatcher & Randy Honea!  Meeting Ronnie and Donna was a true joy.  May your prayerful support of Ronnie go out to the Sovereign God since Ronnie is recovering from cancer, and toward which this benefit concert was performed.

As a former Christian pastor, and forever a Minister (servant), I can say that whenever people reach out to each other without fear of recriminations or religion, the results are astounding.  This is what my Lord & Savior, Christ Jesus, did while always seeking to point our view toward His Father.

Here are the tracks off of the album.  The line-up of ‘live’ musicians (by track) is (in last-name alphabetical order):

written by Steve Freeman on guitar and played by The Guild!  Maybe this might be too much information, but when I recorded this song, I was thinking of my only child and daughter (Angela, along with both mine and her relationships).  She’s a beautiful young Lady. (http://www.johnsussewell.com/Boomer&Angie1204.bmp  By the way, that’s my cat named “Boomer!”  Now married, Angie and her husband David became channels of a handsome bouncing boy: Elijah this past January, 2007.

written and performed by Donna Banks (piano)!  Donna plays with such sensitivity and the website is: http://www.motionmatters.com.  This will be a link on my site when it’s properly configured!  You remind me of a progressive Enya when I hear your playing!  I love it!  What a musical soliloquy!
